The organizations at the AGM

Ladies Circle Sverige

Ladies Circle is an international organization of young women up to 45. The first Swedish Ladies Circle was formed 60 years ago and is now just over 1 800 members in 148 clubs. Internationally, we are just over 13 000 members spread over 36 countries. In clubs, we meet every two to three weeks. Meetings - local, national and international, company visits, lectures and pleasant socializing is the basis for the non-profit efficacy Ladies Circle Sweden. The mandatory part of these meetings is "3 minutes", where a member speaks on a topic of her choice and close to her heart. We devote ourselves often and preferably in different projects to help the needy locally, nationally or internationally.

Our motto is "Friendship and Service" and our goal is that we should widen our sphere of interest, increase our understanding of other people's views and living conditions, and contribute to international understanding and friendship.

Our logo houses six hearts, which symbolize friendship, honesty, love of neighbor, tolerance, positivity and confidence. To us, you are always welcome as a guest.

RT 1 in Helsingborg was chartered December 30, 1943 and a national organization with 6 clubs formed 1947 Today RT-clubs in most of our small and medium-sized cities and communities. Altogether, they are now 152 clubs, numbered in sequence from the start in 1943.

A member of the Roundtable has to be a man over the age of 22 years but not over 40 years old. All members have once again started as a guest. All RT-members possess the ability to take along guests at the regular club meetings. Meetings take place fortnightly between September and May. The content of the regular meetings varies. Typical elements include company visits, lectures by guest speakers, sporting activities or simple club meetings where camaraderie is in the forefront. The mandatory part of these meetings is "3 minutes", where one member speaks at a maximum of three minutes on a topic of his choice and that is close to his heart. Roundtable Sweden's motto is Adopt-Adapt-Improve. The name Roundtable come from the myth of King Arthur and his knights. The council sat at a large oak table. It was a round table so that no one would feel superior to the other. All RT-logos over the world based on the same circular symbol. The design is taken from the table that is hung on a wall in the great hall of the castle in English Winchester, next to Winchester Cathedral.
